The DRMT turned 30 this year! We celebrated with a community anniversary party, which coincided with the 2018 Dungeness River Festival’s “Community Night”. Winners of the DRMT Photo Contest were announced and presented with their awards, a History of the DRMT was on display at the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe’s booth (along with handouts, such as the DRMT’s 30th Anniversary Newsletter), speakers from Clallam County and Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe (co-founder organizations of the DRMT) reminisced about the DRMT’s history and partner accomplishments, River Festival visitors were invited to present their “wish for the River” to hang on the bridge, and sparkling cider and home-made cookies were served during a video screening about the Dungeness Off-Channel Reservoir Project! Here’s to another 30 years!
